Trauma-Informed Therapy in Cardiff
Honouring the body, the nervous system and the story.
How this approach works
Trauma-informed practice recognises that trauma isn't just something we remember, it's something the body carries. Healing needs safety, pacing and choice above all else. Samantha's work here is informed by her training in Attachment Theory alongside her broader trauma-informed practice, so the relational ground of the work is tended just as carefully as the story.
Sessions honour the nervous system as much as the narrative. Nothing is forced, nothing is rushed, and you're never pushed to revisit or recount anything before you're ready.

Who this suits
Those who have experienced childhood trauma, religious trauma, or other significant life events whose effects still show up in the present, in the body, in relationships, in the way daily life is met.
What a session feels like
Steady, consensual and paced by you. This approach is woven through Samantha's wider practice rather than applied as a rigid protocol, meeting you exactly where you are.
Sessions take place in person at Samantha's Cardiff therapy room, or online for clients across Wales and the wider UK.
